Arizona State University is where this film started to feel real. The Pat Tillman Veterans Center was one of the first places that believed in This Is Not A Draft, and Shawn Banzhaf — the first veteran we interviewed and the last — runs it. Bringing the finished film back to campus means a great deal.
ASU's Center for the Study of Race and Democracy and the Pat Tillman Veterans Center are hosting this free public screening. Afterward I'll sit down with Shawn and Dr. Lois Brown, Director of CSRD, for a conversation about service, coming home, and the stories in the film. Bring your questions.
