This Is Not A Draft was inspired by the Veteran Stories Podcast, where Jack Blair interviewed fellow Veterans and started to see trends emerging from the stories they shared.

Realizing the importance of these stories, he partnered with Death Denied Productions to bring this story to light.

Telling these stories is both therapeutic for our Veteran storytellers — and a gift they give their families and friends who come after them. The 9/11 attacks had an immeasurable impact on the US and, to some extent, the whole world. They inspired many people to join their nation's military to protect their country. These are the stories of some of those who answered the call.
