Jack and Jennie Canon are launching a vlog series — Coffee with the Canons — a candid, unpolished look at what it's actually like to work on creative projects in parallel. No highlight reel. Just the work, the conversations, and whatever happens between them.
Two Projects, One Kitchen Table
Right now, both of us are deep in the most ambitious projects of our lives. Jennie is writing her first book — a process that is, by turns, exhilarating and terrifying and completely unlike anything she's done before. Jack is in the thick of production on This Is Not A Draft, the documentary about Post-9/11 veterans that has been years in the making.
We figured: why not bring you along? Not the polished version. The real one.
What to Expect
Each episode of Coffee with the Canons is a conversation — sometimes about the projects themselves, sometimes about the creative process, sometimes about the weird logistical reality of running two creative ventures out of one house. We'll talk about what's working, what isn't, and what we're learning along the way.
We're not experts. We're people doing the work and figuring it out as we go. We think there's value in that.
